  1. I have included this file to allow players to pass on comments on this 
  2. game or any of my other games to future players.

  5. First a very short history.
  6.  
  7. Othello was written in May/June 1994 in Ireland. It was tested by JD, and the
  8. bug free (I hope) version 1.1 was then distributed to a few close friends.
  9. I plan to improve the computer player at some point in the future he plays
  10. a pretty basic game at the moment, but it can still be tricky to beat.
  11. I brought the game to Washington D.C in June '94 and it was first uploaded 
  12. to a BBS by Josh Foer in July '94.
